Konami has announced a new werewolf-style game set in a futuristic London, called Crimesight. It’s coming to PC, and currently has sign-ups available for a closed beta test starting tomorrow.

Crimesight takes place in London in 2075, where AI predictions of when and where crimes will happen have all but eradicated actual crime. A special AI, dubbed “Sherlock,” is developed to help avoid a future where the world falls into ruin, but an AI rival, dubbed “Moriarty,” stands to untangle all its efforts.

The game divides players into teams without revealing their identities, where the Moriarty players must meet certain conditions to get away with murdering a target NPC, while the Sherlock players must deduce not only who the culprits are, but also who the victim of the crime will be in a multiplayer competitive social deduction game.

Though it does not yet have a release date, sign-ups are now open for a closed beta for Crimesight on its official website and will remain open through July 10. The closed beta itself runs from June 25 through July 11 and will take place via Steam.

Crimesight joins a rising trend of popularity for social deduction games like Among Us, SpyParty, and tons of variations on the classic Werewolf. Another variation, Werewolves Within, just got its own film release.
